Academic Staff

The academic community of the Department of Theatre Studies includes faculty members, teaching and laboratory staff, technical staff, researchers, emeritus professors, honorary distinctions, and administrative support. Together, these groups contribute to the Department’s teaching, research, and broader academic activity.

The Department’s academic profile is shaped not only by its permanent faculty, but also by teaching collaborators, researchers, invited scholars, and theatre practitioners from Greece and abroad.

Academic Community

The Faculty staff comprises Academic Staff and academic teaching collaborators. Courses included in the curriculum are also supported by members of other Faculties of the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, while the Department frequently collaborates with specialised professors and theatre artists.

Members of the wider academic community also include Emeriti Professors and individuals who have been honoured with an honorary doctorate. In addition, invited professors, researchers, authors, and theatre artists regularly contribute through lectures, seminars, and specialised teaching activities.
